My dad and I were road tripping and just pitched up looking for a place to stay. I would have stayed anywhere at that point , I was tired and hungry and had stopped at a few places that were fully booked so my expectations weren’t high when I pressed the intercom outside the closed gate. Within seconds our host appeared and immediately ushered us in to show us two different rooms and we chose one. What an absolutely beautiful find. Our host Samantha and the staff there could not be more accommodating, the peace and serenity of the location, the huge trees and lovely rooms were perfect for winding down. could I find fault? Perhaps, but when people are just so lovely, you could not say a harsh word against them. Thank you so much, we will be back.

The owner, Samantha, was extremely helpful and bent over backwards on multiple occasions to help us. Eg. At one point I got really ill, and I messaged her late at night after the pharmacies had closed and she came round with medicine and teas.
I know that there are some other reviews on here about Samantha. After spending a couple of weeks there with Samantha this year and also last year when I visited, I would say those reviews have more to say about the person leaving them than Samantha. Samantha is lovely, and tries to help as best she can.
The dogs that she has that stay there occasionally are lovely and calm. And whenever she had friends or family over, they were always extremely friendly and quiet.
It’s a lovely venue and the location is ideal, right next to the virgin active health gym, and a whole number of tourist attractions. It’s also a great location because you can get to either side of the coasts quite quickly.

We had a beautiful wedding reception in December 2024 at Sacred Mountain Lodge thanks to Samantha and her team. The various cottages were also very convenient so our family could stay at the venue. Everybody was helpful and friendly. We also had the pleasure of enjoying a free night's stay at the venue 1 year after our wedding which was a real treat!

In our search for a small and intimate wedding Venue we came across several options but what stood out about Sacred Mountain was the owner, Samantha. She really took her time to make our wedding journey special. She was very attentive, very reachable, she gave us great advice and her suppliers were top tier. Her venue is beautiful with lots of greenery and beautiful backdrops. It was also very kid friendly as our son loved playing basketball and put put. The food at reception received lots of praise as our guests seemed to love the spread. We got the Pork on the spit Braai which went down a treat! Plus the grazing table was a true hit and a chance for some of our guests who traveled from Kenya to sample some of the delicacies of Capetown. The rooms in which the bride , groom and all parties stayed and got ready at were spacious and spotless. The bridal suite especially was stunning. Her staff is wonderful and very helpful. She was very attentive. We couldn't be happier and we highly recommend her venue.

We attended a wedding at Sacred Mountain Lodge this past weekend, and it was truly a beautiful, cozy venue. The warm atmosphere and charming setting made it perfect for a special celebration. The hosts were amazing, so welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was just right. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Sacred Mountain. The day was absolutely magical and unforgettable. The setting creates a cozy, romantic and fairytale-like atmosphere. The landscapes around the venue are breathtaking and stunning for photos. The food and staff at Sacred Mountain were amazing. All our guests were very impressed by the venue and food. Samantha and Shaun were an absolute blessing to have in making it a stress free day. The bridal suite was also beautiful with great lighting for photos. The room also had a romantic turndown when we arrived at the end of the night, which made it so special.
All in all, we can say that we loved our wedding day and there is absolutely nothing we would want to change. We will forever be grateful to Samantha and Shaun for making it such a wonderful day.

All I can say about Sam and Shaun - they understood the assignment!!
The day was perfect, and the Sacred Mountain team was such a pleasure to work with. They accommodated all our requests and went above and beyond to ensure everything was just as we wanted it to be. Sam seamlessly dealt with our vendors and had her chef prep our menu to perfection while Shaun ensured the setup and layout was our vision brought to life.

A thoroughly lovely place to stay! Very friendly reception right from the first phone call to book where the owner went out of her way to give us exactly what we needed.
We particularly appreciated the privacy and tranquility - including our own private garden! We had a magnificent double suite with everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and all was immaculately clean. Perfect crisp white linen on comfy beds and clean towels changed daily if necessary. We stepped out for an hour and returned to a perfectly clean and tidied suite. At no time were we bothered by any room service/staff.
